India successfully carried out the second test flight of its MALE (Medium Altitude High Endurance) Unmanned Aerial Vehicle RUSTOM on May 21.
Rustom-1 is developed by Aeronautical Development Establishment(ADE), a DRDO lab engaged in pioneering R&D work in the field of aeronautics in India.
Rustom is designed to have an endurance of 14 hours and an altitude of 8000 metres, a DRDO release said.
This flight is a precursor to payload integrated flight and has met all its objectives.
