Pratt & Whitney PW307D turbofan engine will power the new Ultra Long Range Dassault Falcon 8X business jet announced at the 2014 European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (EBACE).

The PW307D is the latest turbofan in the 4,700- to 8,000-lb thrust class PW300 family of business jet engines. Falcon 8X is powered by three PW307D turbofans segment.
PW307D is a compact, light-weight engine with enhancements made specifically to support the extended range and additional maximum take-off weight of the Falcon 8X.
Certification of PW307D engine is planned for April 2015.

The PW300 family of turbofans has accumulated over 13 million flying hours with more than 3,600 PW300 engines flying worldwide today.

Pratt & Whitney engines also powers the Falcon 7X with the PW307A and the Falcon 2000EX, 2000DX, 2000LX, 2000S and 2000LXS business jets with its PW308C engine.
