Embraer delivered the 500th Phenom family jet on Wednesday, the milestone was reached only in five-and-a-half years after entry into service of the first aircraft.
The commemorative aircraft, a Phenom 300, was delivered to Prime Fraction Club, a fractional ownership company that sells, manages, and coordinates the utilization of assets among its members in Brazil.
Embraer Phenom family consists of 2 light jets-Phenom 100 and Phenom 300.
Phenom 100 has a capacity for four passengers in its normal configuration and has a maximum flying range of 1,178 nmi (2,182 km) with four occupants.
Phenom 300 can carry 8 or 9 occupants with a flying range of 1,971 nmi (3,650 km).
The entire fleet in operation has accrued over 370,000 flight hours.
European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) recently certified Embraer Phenom 300 for steep-approach operation.
Interiors are designed in partnership with BMW Designworks USA and cockpit features advanced Prodigy®Flight Deck.
Both the aircrafts are certified for single-pilot operation.
