Mitsubishi has completed mounting of PurePower®PW1200G engines on the Mitsubishi Regional Jet’s (MRJ) first flight test aircraft at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries’ (MHI) final-assembly factory.
Mounting of engines began in mid-June, after mating the wings with fuselage. The installation of other equipment, the wiring work and the piping work are being carried out.
The aircraft is now structurely complete with the first flight scheduled for 2015.
