Aerostructure manufacturer Spirit has successfully completed 5,000 Next-Generation 737 fuselage deliveries to Boeing.
The company builds the 737 fuselage, engine struts and nacelles in Wichita and wing components in its Tulsa, Oklahoma facility.

The 737 is Spirit's largest program, delivering 42 737 airplanes per month. It delivered the first Next-Generation 737 in 1998 and has delivered more than 8,000 737s in all, including the 737 Classic.
Spirit builds the forward section of every Boeing airplanes in production today as well as wing and propulsion components.

Spirit was formed when Boeing sold its Wichita division to investment firm Onex.
