Total commitments for the Bombardier CSeries jetliner has crossed over 500 aircraft at the 2014 Farnborough International Airshow.

Total commitments for the Bombardier CSeries jetliner has crossed over 500 aircraft at the 2014 Farnborough International Airshow.

Bombardier has booked orders and commitments for 513 CSeries aircraft, which include firm orders for 203 CSeries airliners.

The commitments in Farnborough amounts to over $2 billion.

The major order was from Falko Regional Aircraft Limited (Falko), signing two Letters of Intent (LOIs) for the purchase of up to 24 firm CS100 jets.

Another commitment was from the Hangzhou based Loong Air, signing a Letter of Intent to acquire 20 CS100s.

Falcon Aviation Services LLC of Abu Dhabi has signed a firm purchase agreement for two CS300s.

Amman based Petra Airlines has signed a Letter Of Intent (LOI) to acquire up to four CSeries jets including two CS100 and two CS300.
In addition, an existing customer signed a conditional purchase agreement for up to 13 CS300 aircraft.

An African airline and existing Bombardier customer, has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) to acquire five CSeries airliners.
Bombardier also announced that it has appointed Flight Training Alliance, a newly formed joint venture between CAE and Lufthansa Flight Training, as its exclusive Authorized Training Provider for CSeries aircraft pilot and cabin crew training worldwide, and Lufthansa Technical Training as its exclusive Authorized Training Provider for CSeries maintenance training.
Also, during the Airshow Export Development Canada, UK Export Finance, and Investissement Québec announced that they have jointly developed a working model for partnered financing of CSeries customers.
