The agreement is to supply the Mk T16N ejection seat for a Hurkus B prototype and for the 14 trainers on contract by Turkish Air Force.
The Hurkus Basic Trainer Aircraft is designed to meet the training and Light Attack/Armed Reconnaissance aircraft requirements of Turkish armed forces.
Hurkus-B is an advanced version with integrated avionics including HUD, MFDs, and Mission Computer.
The aircraft performed its first flight on August 29, 2013.
