UTC Aerospace Systems has been selected by Boeing to continue to provide landing gear system maintenance services in support of the United States Air Force fleet of the Boeing C-17 Globemaster III aircraft.

The work under the USAF C-17 Globemaster III sustainment program will be carried out at Hill Air Force Base in Ogden, Utah, which began in 2006.
UTC Aerospace Systems is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the C-17 landing gear system.

Boeing will shut down its C-17 final assembly plant in Long Beach, California, in 2015, following lack of orders.
