On Novemeber 16, the first stretched CSeries model- the CS 300 was glimpsed outside Bombardier's factory in Mirabel, Quebec, undergoing fuel flow testing to ensure fuel system integrity.
Named the Flight Test Vehicle 7, the FTV 7 will proceed to ground taxi tests ahead of the planned first flight by the end of the year.
The aircraft has additional second pair of over-wing exit doors.
The CS300 can seat from 130 to 149 passengers and offer the same 20 per cent less fuel burn like the 100 seat CS100.
Latvia's Air Baltic is the launch customer for the "extra capacity" jet, with 10 on order. Bombardier has recieved firm orders for 180 CS300s and 63 CS100s.
