Bombardier has resumed flight test with the CSeries flight test vehicle (FTV1) on November 6, 2014.
The FTV1 re-joined the flight test program following the completion of engine and ground runs as well as the structural repairs to the aircraft resulting from the engine-related incident that occurred on May 29 at Bombardier’s Mirabel facility.
This marks the third CSeries Test Flight Vehicle to re-join the flight test program. FTV2 and FTV4 resumed flight testing in September 2014. FTV4 has been deployed to the Bombardier Flight Test Centre (BFTC) in Wichita, Kansas alongside FTV3 which is expected to resume flight testing in the coming weeks.
