Polish regional airline Eurolot, has announced suspension of operations from April, citing financial problems.

The airline is offering refund or another carrier for tickets booked after March 31st.

Eurolot has a fleet of 14 Bombardier Q400 NextGen turboprop airliners which can seat 78.

EuroLOT was established on 19 December 1996 and commenced regular air operations on 1 July 1997. Apart from its own flights under the Eurolot brand, it operates short-haul flights for LOT Polish Airlines, as well as ad-hoc charter flights.

The Q400s replaced the ATR-72 and -42s in Eurolot fleet, which are more fuel efficient and cost less to maintain.
