At approximately 11:20 a.m.on Saturday, two F-16 Fighting Falcons assigned to the U.S. Air Force 301st Fighter Wing, Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth, Texas, collided shortly after landing at Nellis AFB after a local sortie.

The two pilots are currently undergoing medical evaluation. A safety board will convene to investigate the incident.

The incident marks the second involving a USAF F-16 this week, after crash of the type in Germany during a routine training sortie, on Tuesday.
