An armed MQ-1 Predator Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicle (UCAV) operated by U.S. Air Force has crashed in Kut province, south east of Baghdad, Iraq on Oct 17.

The wreckage consisted the Hellfire supersonic ground attack missile attached to the wing pylon.

The wreckage has been since then transported to Baghdad.

This is at least the fourth crash of a Predator drone, and the second one to go down in Iraq in 2015.

Failures of onboard alternator and engine supercharger has been found to be the most common reason for U.S. military drone crashes.
