A Singapore Airline Airbus A330 airliner's nose landing gear collapsed while parked at Changi Intl Airport, Singapore on Sunday morning.
The landing gear got retracted while the aircraft was undergoing a landing gear check, with an engineer onboard.
The aircraft tilted forward and hit the ground, damaging its landing gear door and entry/exit plug door.
Incident happened as passengers prepared to board the aircraft for Flight SQ890 to Hong Kong.
SIA said the aircraft registered 9V-STG, had last operated flight SQ835 which arrived in Singapore from Shanghai at 12.49 am.
