An Airbus A300 freighter operated by Egyptian cargo carrier Tristar Air has crashed near Mogadishu, Somalia on Monday, while attempting to land.
The freighter which missed several attempts to land at the Aden Adde airport, crashed near Afgooye town, which is about 24 km from Mogadishu.
Although the aircraft was completely destroyed, the six passengers and crew members survived the crash.

The A300B4-200F with registration, SU-BMZ was manufactured in 1980, and first delivered to Air France. It was powered by two CFM CF6-50C2 turbofan engines.
The A300 was the first commercial aircraft developed by Airbus, and was produced from 1971 to 2007.
