Lockheed Martin  has been awarded a $914 million contract to upgrade F-16 fighter planes of Singapore.

The contract was awarded on a sole-source and is part of Foreign Military Sale handled by U.S. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio.

Work will be performed at Lockheed's Fort Worth, Texas, and is expected to be complete by June 30, 2023.

Details about the upgrade was not released.
