A flydubai Boeing 737 passenger plane has been crashed while landing at Rostov-on-Don airport in Russia.
The Boeing 737-800 crashed short off runway while approaching the Rostov-on-Dov airport due to poor visibility conditions owing to heavy rain.
Air-traffic control confirmed that the jet crashed during a second approach, some 50-100 meters left of the runway.
The flight FZ981 departed Dubai International Airport at 10:38 p.m. local time on Friday and was due to land at Rostov-on-Don Airport at 3:49 a.m. local time according data from flight-tracking website FlightAware.
All the 62 people onboard including 55 passengers is reported to be dead, according to airport authorities.
