Based on its SuperJet regional aircraft platform, the SportJet is configured exclusively for professional athletes, were they can rest and recover and train while cruising at 40,000 ft.

The 98 seat cabin of SuperJet is now divided into four functional zones: the recovery zone with physiotherapy equipment, the resting zone with comfortable setting for sleeping, biometrical data monitoring, built-in multimedia systems, the coaching zone for viewing and analyzing sports games and the administration zone.

Key features include a massage table, wearable and non-wearable diagnostic systems to monitor athlete's condition, smart toilet that can measure hydration level, comfortable seats with sensors that can measure physiological changes.

Exercise bike with sensors to monitor athlete's health
The SportJet will be Sukhoi Civil Aircraft’s third product line-up along with the SuperJet 100 regional jet and the BusinessJet.

The technology integrated in the aircraft is developed by SCAC and Russian Olympic Committee's Innovation Centre specialists in cooperation with athletes, medical experts and sports managers.

Sukhoi aims to market the SportJet to major sport teams. The type will go into production in 2017 if ordered by customers, with first deliveries in 2018.
