Boeing has landed with two major orders from Middle East for its fourth generation fighter jets through U.S. governments Foreign Military Sale.

Kuwait has ordered 32 F/A-18E/F Super Hornet fighter jets to replace its ageing F/A-18C acquired in the 1990s after Gulf War.

The fleet will complement the 28 Eurofighter Typhoons ordered in 2015. Along with support, equipment, and training, the deal is estimated cost at $10.1 billion.

Qatar has requested to purchased 72 F-15QA fighter jets to strengthen its Air Force which currently operates a mere five Mirage 2000 fighters.

Along with weapons and related support, equipment, and training the deal is estimated at $21.1 billion.

The deal also include provision for continental United States based Lead-in-Fighter-Training for the F-15QA.

Qatar in 2015 has also ordered 24 Dassault Rafale fighter jet to replace the Mirage 2000.
