Turkish missile manufacturer Rokestan has unveiled a new tactical surface to surface missile system called Khan, at the concluded IDEF 2017 defense exhibition held at Istanbul, Turkey.

The short range guided ballistic missile is intended to provide quick fire power to neutralize enemy columns at a range of 280 km.


The solid fueled missile with a diameter of 610 mm, weighs 2,500 kg and carry a 470 kg fragmentation warhead.

The warhead is guided to its target using Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) and Inertial Navigation System (INS).

The system comprises a Transport Erector Launcher (TEL), resupply vehicle and integrated support vehicle based on VOLAT MZKT tactical military truck platform.

The TEL carries two Khan missiles each housed in its own isolated composite containers and can be fired in ripple mode.
