The aircraft skidded off runway after landing at the Wamena Airport at around 12:00 local time.
The 737 came to halt on a marshy land close to the airport perimeter fence. With its landing gear collapsed, both the engines has been severly damaged.
The 737-300F with registration PK-YGG was operating a cargo flight between Timika and Wamena, towns located in Indonesia's far eastern Papua province.
It is the only 737 operated by the Airline. The 29 year old vintage aircraft was manufactured in 1988 and has been operated by the Tri MG since April 2012.
The aircraft was regularly flown between Jakarta, Singapore and can carry a payload of 18.2 tonnes.
