An Emirates Airbus A380 made an incredible landing despite severe crosswind conditions, while landing at Dusseldorf Airport in Germany on Oct 5.
The Flight EK55 enroute from Dubai, experienced unexpected gust winds while approaching the runway. Just seconds to touchdown, pilot seems to have over yawed the aircraft to left to align the aircraft along the runway.
The aircraft made an hard landing, following which it yawed left and then a over corrected counter yaw turned the aircraft right, before gaining back controls by the pilots, demonstrating incredible piloting skills.
Emirates Spokesperson said passenger safety were not compromised at any point of the incident.
