India's Aeronautical Development Agency(ADA) which is spearheading the design and development of the indigenous stealth fighter-Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft, unveiled its tweaked design of fighter after Indian Airforce asked to improve the design which was earlier unveiled during Aero India 2011.
The final design has close resemblance with the Northrop Grumman YF-23 prototype that lost the US Air Force's Advanced Tactical Fighter competition to the Lockheed F-22 Raptor fighter.
AMCA's fuselage has been stretched, with symmetric trapezoidal wings.
The leading-edge extensions on the wings has been removed.
The aircraft will feature an internal weapons bay and fully indigenous stealth technologies now under development, including radar-absorbent paint and composites.
