The Indo-Russian joint venture, BrahMos unveiled its plan to develop a new variant of its successful BrahMos cruise missile with advanced technologies under the Vision 2050 Programme. The missile with advanced technology would be smaller in size and weight, with better capability. The miniaturized version would have the same range of 290 km, but will be shorter by three metres as compared to the present missile. The missile will have a length of 6 meters and diameter of 0.5 meter with speed of Mach 3.5.
