Four new Airbus A320 jetliners has been delivered to the newly launched Riyadh based Al Maha Airlines, a subsidiary of Qatar Airways on Wednesday.

The new startup airline will be an independent airline based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and will operate an expanding fleet of aircraft.

The four A320 aircraft, which carry the green Al Maha livery, will initialy join the Qatar Airways' fleet and operate on the airline's key destinations across the Middle East, prior to the commencement of operations of Al Maha Airways, owing to certification delay with Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation.

The A320s features a distinctive and familiar Oryx livery and fuel saving Sharklet wingtips. The aircraft has been leased to Qatar Airways and will take the airline’s fleet count to 156 aircraft.
