A Spanish Air Force Eurofighter Typhoon fighter jet crashed Today, while returning to base after taking part in a flypast as a part of country's national day.
The single seat aircraft crashed at Albacete, southeast of Madrid, while returning to the Los Llanos airbase. The pilot did not survive the crash as he was unable to eject from the aircraft.
The aircraft was part of a four ship aircraft and were returning to base after the fly past.
The crash marks the third, involving the Typhoon in 30 days, with all being fatal. On September 13 A Royal Saudi Air Force Eurofighter crashed during a combat mission in Yemen killing its pilot.
An Italian Air Force Eurofighter crashed into the Sea on Sept 24, after it lost control while performing a loop maneuver during a solo display as a part of the Terracina airshow.
